Michael G. Stefanko, an associate, presented “Land Contracts and Oil and Gas Rights” at the Michigan Association of Professional Landmen’s (MAPL) 18th Annual Winter Mini-Seminar held in Mt. Pleasant on February 22, 2013. Mr. Stefanko’s presentation was an analysis of issues presented when the Land Contract and the Deed pursuant to a Land Contract are inconsistent as to the owner of the oil, gas and mineral rights.
