Tenancy by the Entireties Ownership – An Analysis
The Michigan Probate & Estate Planning Journal has published its Spring 2020 Edition. It includes an article entitled “Tenancy by the Entireties Ownership – An Analysis” drafted by James (“J.V”) F. Anderton, V and Kevin P. Cummings. The article outlines many of the keys issues faced by estate planning attorneys in determining how a clients’ property should be titled (i.e. in a joint trust, as tenants by the entireties, in a trust of one spouse, etc.).
