Michael G. Oliva, assists domestic and international corporations with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and other complex business transactions.  He has over 31 years experience in administrative and regulatory law  before both state and federal agencies and appellate courts, involving gas and electric energy, pipelines, telecommunications and securities.  He  also practices in the areas of health care law and tax law.  Mr. Oliva is an active presenter on a variety of legal topics.

He is listed in the 2015 Edition of Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Administrative / Regulatory Law and Energy Law, is listed as AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell in Administrative Law, Energy Law and Utility Law, and is listed by Leading Lawyers in Governmental, Municipal, Lobbying and Administrative Law.

Mr. Oliva joined the Loomis Law Firm in 1978 after earning a law degree from the University of Michigan.
